This place is just a proper fit for an overnight stop in Carnforth with great value for the money. The friendly staff really made our first night cute. If you're a light sleeper, maybe bring earplugs for the road noise.

The staff were very obliging - nothing was too much trouble. Room (no.20) was spacious and spotless as was the en-suite bathroom.
Consider the cost of breakfast could have been included in the cost of accommodation. By charging extra, the overall cost was marginally expensive for the type of hotel.

secure access, decent size rooms, parking availability
Room security lacks due to a missing window handle!!! The television is absurdly tiny for viewing from the bed!!! Several missing bulbs and dusty corners reflect poorly on maintenance!!!

The staff is always very friendly, they are always willing to help out, helping to call taxi's, store luggage after checkout, etc. Rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean. Quiet atmosphere in a lovely quaint town of Carnforth. We have stayed here many times.

Really enjoyed Carnforth, the hotel was exceptionally comfortable within easy walking distance to Carnforth railway station. Magnificent location and incredibly nice staff were a definite plus. I was surprised at nearby Cafe Edelweiss, they had some goodies, drinks.
Wi-Fi was very poor, made me a little nervous.

I stayed at the County Lodge for a night and appreciated the clean, cozy room with a decent shower. The location offered a nice vibe, perfect for nightlife. A minor downside was the small TV, but I found it easy to overlook. A good stay.

The location was excellent for us because we were in Carnforth for a funeral and our relatives live only three minutes away

It was convenient for my needs on a short overnight visit, the reception staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food (evening meal and breakfast well cooked and tasty.
The only thing that comes to mind was that the tv in the room was on the small side, but I am used to a 32" set, and it wasnt a real problem. I have no complaints at all.
